Hi, I’m EMILY.
Emily currently serves as Assistant Director of Fitness at Harvard University Recreation, where she helps lead personal training, small-group training, group exercise, fitness clinics, and the development and mentorship of fitness professionals across multiple facilities. Previously, she served as Head Strength & Conditioning Coach at Rhode Island College and coached at Champion Physical Therapy and Performance.
Throughout her career, Emily has worked with everyone from general-population clients who simply want to feel stronger and move better to competitive athletes looking to improve performance. Her approach combines intelligent strength training with thoughtful assessment and programming to help clients build strength, improve movement quality, manage pain, and train successfully around previous or current injuries.
Emily has a particular passion for women’s strength and health. She understands that a woman’s training needs can evolve through different stages of life and specializes in helping women build and maintain muscle, improve bone and metabolic health, navigate pre- and post-natal training, stay resilient through midlife and beyond, and develop strength that supports a healthy, active life for decades.
Above all, Emily believes great training should meet people where they are. Whether someone is returning from an injury, beginning strength training for the first time, navigating changes in their body, or pursuing a high-level performance goal, she brings the education, experience, and individualized coaching needed to help them move well, get strong, and train with confidence.
