WHO WE ARE
Optimizing human movement requires individualization and attention to details. Every person has specific strengths and weaknesses that can easily be addressed using the right tools and proper exercise prescription. In a fitness world that has become one size fits all, we prioritize customization. When it comes getting short term results, whether it be weight loss, strength gains, or mobility, there is not just way to do it. When it comes to your longevity and creating a healthy body that will move and feel great 20 years from now, proper assessment and a tailor made plan is crucial.
Beyond customization, we believe training should be built on the knowledge of multiple disciplines. Our founder has years of experience in strength training, conditioning, physical rehabilitation, massage therapy, and more. After noticing the disconnect among these practices, he wanted to create a one stop shop for fitness and recovery. A team of individual experts who work together and intertwined is the difference between changing a human body or having it remain the same.
Our fitness services include personal training and semi private training for all levels. Again, unlike the common group class, we believe individual assessment and customized programming is vital for achieving short and most importantly, long term fitness. Our motto is “Move Well. Train Hard. Recover.”, which defines the steps we take to first improve your mobility, then strengthen your body, and finally help you recover for your next session. There is no better way to achieve your desired physique while preventing injury and future proofing your body.
Discover Movement's recovery services are for pain management, improved mobility, and general full body recovery. We offer manual therapy and other various muscle release techniques. Our therapists are well trained in deep tissue, myofacial release, cupping, graston, and active release techniques. Our therapy involves moving the limbs and the body as we work, so most sessions are performed without needing to disrobe. Simply show up with shorts and a t-shirt or tank top.
